    Really well done for explaining the topics effectively.. However in 16:43, why does the total voltage remains 12 V when both R1 and R2 are having 12 V, shouldn’t they sum up to 24 V?

    Would the car still go around a loop if the normal force went to zero? Because in many problems, there is asked about the minimum speed with which a roller coaster makes the ride at the top. This minimum velocity happens when normal force goes to zero. But I don't understand, if normal force becomes zero, how does it still make around the loop with that minimum velocity? Or do problems mean that if we closely approach that minimum value of velocity the roller coaster still makes it at the top of the loop?

    Be careful if you rely on the half-life method - radioactive transformations do not take place at discrete intervals like income tax or depreciation in a geometric progression. Rather it is a continuous exponential process. Better to use the decay constant and the exponential equation. By the way, radiocarbon dating is NOT applied to rocks - it only works out to about 50,000 years and is used to date archaeological artefacts with carbon derived from living organic material contained in them.

    A very didactic lesson on spectroscopy. Congratulations and thanks for sharing! In any case, I would like to clarify one thing related to the last example: the presence of absorption lines in the spectrum of a star or celestial object does not exclusively mean that said star is composed of those chemical elements. There are also other chemical elements present in the star and however they are not reflected in the absorption line spectra. The absorption lines, as well as the slope of the continuum in a spectra, are only related to the temperature of the star's photosphere.

      In this example, it's just because it's given in the problem. :) You could also use a protractor or a level to measure it if it was a physical model

    I don't understand how the formula to calculate works? What is the layout of the formula needed? How is the initial velocity not 0?

    • @PassionatelyCuriousSci
      @PassionatelyCuriousSci 8 місяців тому

      There are several ways to set this up but I am partial to dividing the problem in half and using 0 m/s (speed at the top) as the starting velocity. From there, the kinematic equations (d=vit + 0.5at^2) can help you find the time.
